Supreme Recruitment are looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join one of our clients based in Warwick. My client is a design company that prides itself on delivering exceptional solutions across various industries. Their technical team is the driving force behind their success, and they are currently looking for a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to contribute to their legacy of innovation.

As a health and safety manager, you will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices
Conducting regular risk assessments and audits to identify and eliminate hazards and ensure compliance
Providing health and safety training and advice to staff and managers
Investigating and reporting on any accidents, incidents, or near misses
Liaising with external agencies and authorities on health and safety matters
Managing and maintaining health and safety records and documentation
Reviewing and updating health and safety policies and procedures as needed

Requirements:

A NEBOSH certificate or equivalent qualification in health and safety
At least 3 years of experience as a health and safety manager or officer, preferably in a design / prototype or manufacturing setting
A thorough understanding of health and safety legislation and standards, especially related to machinery and display screen equipment
Excellent communication and report writing skills
A proactive and problem-solving approach to health and safety issues
A strong attention to detail and accuracy
A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Hours:

8.30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am - 13.30pm Friday.
